Alliance between Rheinmetall and Auterion to Supply Drones with Softwares
The US technology company Auterion has formed an alliance with German automotive and arms manufacturer Rheinmetall to develop drone softwares, as stated by Lorenz Meier, the head of Auterion.
While drones are becoming crucial assets in securing the safety of countries and their borders, governments are forging their aerial arsenal with the latest drone technologies to tackle any issues, especially in warfares. This alliance will expand Rheinemtall´s larger drones, as Auterion will supply the operating system of these drones. Auterion´s technology will increase the drones´ rate of finding their targets to around 90 percent, compared to previous situations when only one in five drones reach the target.
Auterion stands out in the drone market with its precise solutions. Drones equipped with Auterion´s software reach their targets independently, the only thing that the user needs to do is to mark the target.
With Rheinmetall´s support, the US company aims to establish its drone operating system as a standard in European NATO countries, said Lorenz Meier, CEO of Auterion.
