DJI Zenmuse H30T Revolutionizes Animal Conservation in Uganda
In the last few years, the usage of technology in wildlife conservation has shown great results, especially drones. One of the next generation tools used for this task is the DJI Zenmuse H30T, a system that combines between thermal abilities and aerial imagery. The H30T has shown significant results in Uganda and plays an important role in animal conservation.
What does DJI H30T offer?
More stable shots with the zoom camera:
With DJI's latest image stabilization algorithm, the Zenmuse H30 series can effectively reduce camera shake in telephoto shots and deliver stable and clear images for detailed inspections of high-voltage lines.
Up to 34x optical zoom and 400x digital zoom:
The Zenmuse H30 series features a high-resolution 40 MP zoom camera that supports up to 34x optical zoom and an impressive 400x digital zoom. Compared to the previous generation, it not only captures objects at a greater distance, but also captures more details.
Maximum 3000m ‌laser rangefinder:
The laser rangefinder has a measuring range up to 2.5 times larger than the previous generation and precisely records the position data of objects in a range of 3 m to 3000 m, including the linear distance to the camera, the altitude and the GPS coordinates.
Supports full-color night vision:
The Zenmuse H30 series zoom and wide-angle cameras can switch to night mode in low light conditions to improve live view and recording quality. This ensures efficient and precise use at night and enables continuous operation from day to night.
Supports black and white night vision and NIR illumination:
In night mode, the Zenmuse H30 Series zoom camera supports IR light for infrared enhancement and NIR illumination. It switches the live feed to a grayscale image by removing the infrared filter, enhancing the contrast between bright and dark areas, making it easier to locate objects. When NIR enhancement illumination is enabled, the zoom camera can benefit from the additional NIR illumination, which is especially helpful in nighttime security observation and search and rescue operations
1280 × 1024 infrared resolution
The infrared thermal imaging camera offers a resolution of 1280 × 1024, four times that of the previous generation, and up to 32x digital zoom, allowing both an overview of the entire environment and the ability to zoom in on specific areas. At higher zoom levels, the Zenmuse H30T automatically activates a UHR (Ultra-High-Resolution) infrared imaging function, to ensure that the infrared images remain clear..
The DJI Zenmuse H30T is transforming wildlife conservation efforts in Uganda, especially in the protection of the African lion.
