DJI´s Second Episode of `On The Road with Chief Wayne Baker´
Following the success of DJI´s new show called `On The Road´, the second episode was released to show viewers the behind the scenes of two inspirational members of the Spring Valley Volunteer Fire Department, Simon So andd Mike Hacke. The episode sheds light on the important role of the DJI drones in emergency response.
Through implementing drone technology in their operations, the Fire Department is able to improve situational awareness during emergencies and deploy the DJI drones to apply aerial reconnaissance and collect real-time data. Using these data, Simon So and Mike Hacke are able to take decisions based on the situation, especially in wildfires where fast assessment is required.
The DJI drones are not deployed without proper training, as the episode highlights the importance of training and drills operations. This allows volunteer firefighters to improve skills needed to respond rapidly and efficiently to emergencies.
